Turbo gearboxes from Illkirch-Graffenstaden

High-performance gearboxes by Flender that we manufacture at our factory in Illkirch-Graffenstaden are used in the oil and gas industry the world over.

They withstand the most extreme climatological conditions, from Antarctica to the Middle East, at temperatures between -50 °C und +60 °C, and under the most extreme conditions of use, such as offshore, in salt-laden air, in rough seas and in potentially explosive environments.

About Turbo Gear Units

Flender employees in Illkirch-Graffenstaden support the biggest mineral oil companies all over the world right from the start of and throughout their entire production cycle:

Upstream: all oil and gas extraction sites: for example, offshore fields, platforms and floating production, storage and offloading units (FPSOs)

Midstream: pipelines, liquefied natural gas (LNG) tankers

Downstream: refineries, LNG plants, natural gas liquefaction (gas to liquid) plants

The gearboxes put into operation for the purposes of these applications were developed on the basis of the API 613 standard and tailored precisely to meet the specifications set by our customers, end-consumers, technical companies and OEM suppliers. They fulfill all of the ATEX directives.

We can conduct mechanical function tests in full operation and under part-load.
